Position Overview

Logismart Inc. is seeking a dedicated Accounting Specialist to manage financial records and ensure accuracy in our bookkeeping processes. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting our operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management: Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
  • Asset Management: Assess fixed assets and calculate depreciation.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Journal Entries: Post journal entries accurately.
  • Reporting: Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
  • Trial Balance: Prepare trial balances of books.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
Technical Skills

The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in various software tools, including:

  • Accounting software
  • MS Access
  • MS Excel
  • MS Outlook
  • MS PowerPoint
  • MS Windows
  • MS Word
Work Environment

This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be comfortable with:
