Role Overview

The Investor Relations Manager will assist in communicating the Bank's financial performance and strategy to the investment community. This role supports the Investor Relations team and plays a significant part in preparing key deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the preparation of quarterly deliverables, including the Analyst Presentation and Marketing Deck, and internal management reports.
  • Track estimates published by the Bank's sell-side analysts to prepare briefing materials and potential questions for Executive Management.
  • Assist in preparing materials for annual rating agency reviews, working with major rating agencies such as Standard & Poors, Moody's, Fitch, and DBRS.
  • Support Investor Relations in utilizing third-party vendors for market intelligence, tracking buy and sell-side activity of the Bank's securities, and preparing analysis based on market intelligence.
  • Participate in various projects and ad-hoc requests, including Investor Days, preparation of materials for leadership meetings, Board reporting, and other tasks.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of financial statements and associated disclosure is necessary for this role.
  • High proficiency with MS PowerPoint and MS Excel is mandatory, including familiarity with Excel shortcuts and formulas, and the ability to manipulate data efficiently and accurately.
  • Familiarity with Factset, CapIQ, Thomson ONE, or Bloomberg is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
  • Experience in the Financial Institutions industry is preferred.
