Key Responsibilities

The Investor Relations Manager will play a crucial role in communicating the Bank's financial performance and strategy to the investment community. This includes assisting with the preparation of key IR deliverables, developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, and contributing to the day-to-day tasks of the team.

Key Deliverables
  • Quarter-end reporting is a key component of the Investor Relations communication strategy. The Manager will contribute to the preparation of key quarterly deliverables, including the Analyst Presentation and Marketing Deck, and internal management deliverables.
  • The Manager will assist in tracking estimates published by the Bank's sell side analysts, which plays a crucial role in preparing briefing materials and potential questions for Executive Management.
  • The Manager will assist in preparing materials for the annual rating agency reviews, which involves working with all major rating agencies.
  • The Manager will support the Investor Relations team in utilizing third-party vendors for market intelligence, tracking buy and sell side activity of the Bank's securities, and preparing analysis based on market intelligence.
Requirements
  • A strong understanding of financial statements and associated disclosure is required for all key aspects of the role.
  • High proficiency with MS PowerPoint and MS Excel is mandatory, including familiarity with Excel shortcuts and formulas and ability to manipulate data in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Familiarity with any of Factset, CapIQ, Thomson ONE, Bloomberg is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and communication (written, verbal, presentation) skills are required.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills are necessary.
  • Self-motivated; able to work in a team and independently.
  • Experience in the Financial Institutions industry is preferred.
