About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at FFLECS Restaurant Management Inc. As a key member of our food service operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our kitchen staff and ensuring that our food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Service Operations
    • Establish and implement efficient food preparation and service methods to meet work schedules and customer demands.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Staff Management
    • Train and develop kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and inventory reports.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing insights for business growth.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen management or supervisory role.
  • College, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
Language and Work Environment

This role requires fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high-quality food standards.
