About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Dedicated Healthy Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized environment in the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, including portioning and wrapping foods, and serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders, handling customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, ovens, and other appliances, and perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires standing for extended periods.
  • Physical Demands: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling.
