About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Rendezvous Restaurants of Fort Frances Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.

Food Preparation and Presentation

Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring that they are of the highest quality and visually appealing.

Staff Management and Training

Lead and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.

Inventory Management and Supply Chain

Manage inventory levels and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure that we have the freshest and highest-quality ingredients available.

Health and Safety

Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety protocols, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Skills and Abilities

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team of kitchen staff.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
