About the Role

Bombardier is seeking a highly skilled Material Logistics Agent to join our team at the Dorval Plant 3. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the internal flow of material with expeditors and production employees, participating in the material planning process, and providing a contingency plan for missing parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the internal flow of material with expeditors and production employees, participate in the material planning process, and provide a contingency plan for missing parts;
  • Participate in daily morning meetings (DMM) and provide visibility to the natural team regarding planned and unplanned shortages;
  • Manage and plan the work of internal suppliers;
  • Prepare and validate documentation at different workstations;
  • Participate in various improvement plans of internal material flow management with different stakeholders such as Operations, Engineering, Methods, and Quality;
  • Ensure improvement of business processes and solutions within the team to ensure on-time delivery of parts to production positions;
  • Actively participate in improvement projects (ex. Achieving Excellence System, 5S, Lean manufacturing, cost reduction, etc.);
  • Develop positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Operation Management, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent) in a recognized University;
  • You have 3 to 5 years of working experience in operations or logistics in a manufacturing environment;
  • You have the ability to work with minimum supervision, be a team player, self-motivated, and demonstrate initiative as well as leadership, and good interpersonal skills;
  • You are able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities;
  • You have good organizational & planning skills;
  • You have excellent communication skills in French and English (written and oral);
  • You are proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
