About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Logistics Agent to join our team at Bombardier's Dorval Plant 3. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies to support our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with expeditors and production employees to manage material flow and identify potential bottlenecks;
  • Participate in daily morning meetings to provide visibility into planned and unplanned shortages;
  • Manage and plan the work of internal suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts;
  • Prepare and validate documentation at various workstations to ensure accuracy and compliance;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Methods, and Quality to drive process improvements and optimize material flow;
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve business processes and ensure on-time delivery of parts to production positions;
  • Actively participate in improvement projects, such as Achieving Excellence System, 5S, Lean manufacturing, and cost reduction initiatives;
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Operation Management, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent) from a recognized university;
  • 3-5 years of working experience in operations or logistics in a manufacturing environment;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, be a team player, self-motivated, and demonstrate initiative and leadership skills;
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (written and oral);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
