About the Role

Bombardier is seeking a highly skilled Material Logistics Agent to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and flow of materials to meet scheduled operating needs within the set budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of parts in accordance with customer priorities.
  • Ensure disposal of obsolete/inactive inventory.
  • Coordinate inter-site demand as required.
  • Reduce discrepancies and deviations from suppliers by proposing lasting solutions.
  • Manage inventory level and in-flow.
  • Release planned orders to relevant purchasing documentation.
  • Manage activities of non-conforming materials to meet schedule.
  • Manage incoming shipments.
  • Ensure documentation is compliant to internal and external regulations.
  • Participate in improvement projects and demand to supply process.
  • Support sourcing teams in negotiations and commodity projects.
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks that create the greatest value to the company and internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in administration or operations management.
  • Five to eight years of experience in Materials or Inventory Management.
  • Work experience in external production (OP) an asset.
  • Experience or knowledge of SAP an asset.
  • Strong sense of ethics and customer-focused.
  • Good analytical, planning, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
