Your Role and Contributions

  • Oversee the procurement and flow of materials to meet operational schedules while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Ensure timely delivery of components to the assembly line.
  • Maintain adherence to the final line schedule for part deliveries.
  • Manage the disposal of obsolete or inactive inventory.
  • Coordinate inter-site demand effectively.
  • Minimize discrepancies and deviations from plans by proposing sustainable short-term solutions and raising awareness among partners regarding the impact of their work on profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory levels and incoming material flow.
  • Release planned orders according to relevant purchasing documentation.
  • Handle non-conforming materials to meet production schedules.
  • Manage inbound shipments and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Support engineering and manufacturing configurations.
  • Participate in improvement initiatives and the demand-to-supply process, including cost reductions and manufacturing enhancements.
  • Assist program management by participating in reviews and providing updates on schedule changes.
  • Support sourcing teams in negotiations and commodity projects.

Qualifications for Success

  • A bachelor's degree in administration or operations management.
  • Five to eight years of experience in materials or inventory management.
  • Experience in external production is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
  • A strong ethical foundation and customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
