About the Role

Meltwich is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with our culinary team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Organize and execute buffets and banquets to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
