Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at Elisa, a renowned restaurant in Vancouver. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for creating high-quality bread, cakes, and pastries under the direction of our experienced Pastry Chef. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake bread, cakes, and pastries to a high standard
  • Work closely with the Pastry Chef to design and create new dessert items
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service
  • Sample and taste products to ensure quality and consistency

Requirements:

  • Completion of a culinary program or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 6 months of baking/pastry experience
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
