We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse II to join our team at St.Amant. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing services to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, promoting health, restoration, and maintenance, as well as prevention of illness and disability.
Key Responsibilities- Assess clients using a variety of resources and focusing on biological, emotional, socio-cultural, spiritual, and quality of life factors.
- Develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with other health team members, including the resident and their family, as possible.
- Provide direct nursing care to an assigned group of clients, including health information, facilitating a least restrictive living environment, and promoting awareness of clients' rights.
- Delegate care appropriately based on assessment of client needs and competence/roles of care providers and monitors outcomes of delegated care.
- Communicate healthcare concerns to the physician and coordinates residents to be seen at regularly scheduled medical rounds.
- Graduate of an approved RN or RPN educational program (Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing).
- Holds current active practicing membership with the CRNM or CRPNM.
- Responsible to maintain competency in CPR/Code Blue and practices within the professional, ethical, legal, and legislative parameters of the CRNM or CRPNM Standards of Practice and Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
- Ability to make effective use of computer technology necessary for effective care planning, documentation, and communication.

As a condition of employment, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, Adult Abuse Registry Check, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Prior Contact Check.
