Job Title: Registered Nurse II

St.Amant is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our team. As a Registered Nurse II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our clients.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse II will be responsible for providing direct nursing services to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities. This includes assessing clients, developing individualized care plans, and implementing interventions to promote health and well-being. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess clients using a variety of resources and focusing on biological, emotional, socio-cultural, spiritual, and quality of life factors.
  • Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
  • Implement interventions to promote health and well-being, including providing direct nursing care and delegating tasks to other healthcare team members.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and make adjustments as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved RN or RPN educational program (Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing).
  • Holds current active practicing membership with the CRNM or CRPNM.
  • Responsible to maintain competency in CPR/Code Blue and other relevant skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare team members.
