Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide professional registered nursing services for patients with complex and unpredictable health needs. This includes independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, leadership roles within the healthcare team, and facilitating coordination of patient care and discharge.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and education
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge
  • Administer prescribed medical treatments and medications
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
  • Experience in a hospital setting is considered an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting
  • Knowledge of College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses
  • Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses
