Emergency Veterinarian Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Veterinarian to join our team at Vancouver Animal Emergency and Referral Centre (VAERC). As a full-time Emergency Veterinarian, you will be part of a dynamic team providing high-quality care to a diverse range of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency and critical care services to patients
  • Collaborate with our Specialty services to deliver comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and referring veterinarians
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
  • DVM degree or equivalent, enabling practice in Canada
  • Completed a small animal internship or have 2 years of in-hospital emergency experience
  • Leadership skills and a positive, team-player attitude
  • Excellent diagnostic and critical care skills
  • Exemplary client service skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
