Emergency Veterinarian Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Veterinarian to join our team at Vancouver Animal Emergency and Referral Centre.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary of $170,000.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality emergency veterinary care to a diverse range of patients
  • Work collaboratively with our team of veterinarians and technicians to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and referring veterinarians
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in emergency veterinary medicine
Requirements
  • DVM degree or equivalent, enabling practice in Canada
  • Completed a small animal internship or have 2 years of in-hospital emergency experience
  • Leadership skills combined with a positive, team-player attitude
  • Excellent diagnostic and critical care skills
  • Exemplary client service skills
  • Organizational skills, allowing you to work efficiently under pressure
