WORK SCHEDULE:
Day Shift hours, unless otherwise specified.

EDUCATION:
Undergraduate Degree in Health or Social Sciences is required; a Master's Degree in Health or Social Sciences is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in a mental health and/or addictions environment, specifically as a collaborative team member conducting behavioral assessments.
- Proven understanding of clinical theories and practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) within a biopsychosocial context.
- Familiarity with the forensic system, risk management, and legal frameworks is essential.
- Experience and active participation in leading or implementing quality and safety improvement initiatives/projects are advantageous.
- Knowledge of harm minimization and reduction strategies for self-injury and suicide is required (ASSIST Course is an asset).

CERTIFICATIONS:
- Current Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate is mandatory (training provided by the Health Centre upon hiring).
- Current Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) Certificate is required (training provided by the Health Centre upon hiring).

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bilingualism (Advanced level in English and French) is required. Unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and may be considered if the French requirement is met or if there are no successful bilingual candidates. A formal French proficiency test will be conducted.
