We seek a dedicated individual to join our manufacturing team, with a strong emphasis on product quality and customer satisfaction. This role encompasses a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including coordination across assembly, quality assurance, and packaging of mechanical, optical, and electronic components, sub-assemblies, products, and systems.

Your Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Production and Quality Control Manager, you will engage in various multi-functional tasks within the manufacturing operation:

Assembly:
  1. Oversee the activities related to customer-specific products in a dynamic environment.
  2. Manage the setup of intricate tools, fixtures, and testing & measurement equipment.
  3. Develop and fabricate specific subassemblies to align with customer requirements.
  4. Lead the testing and troubleshooting of components, assemblies, and final products.
  5. Direct the inspection and repair processes for components, assemblies, and products.
  6. Support new product implementation (NPI) initiatives, including pilot builds and the creation of new work instructions.
Administrative Duties:
  1. Complete necessary checklists and reports to ensure industry compliance and traceability.
  2. Conduct CRM and ERP analysis and reporting, including the establishment of work schedules.
  3. Oversee QA audit checklists.
Logistics:
  1. Assist in the receiving and staging of all incoming manufacturing materials.
  2. Support the packaging of finished products and systems for distribution.
Training:
  1. Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive training programs and certification processes for galvanometer proficiency.

Qualifications:

  1. Preferred college diploma in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, or Optics technology.
  2. Proven experience in building and testing galvanometers is highly valued and critical for success in this position.
  3. Experience in tuning and calibrating galvanometers, both optically and electronically, using oscilloscopes and related technologies.
  4. Ability to interpret assembly procedures, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  5. Competence in documenting and recording test results, as well as reporting daily labor and material usage.
  6. Demonstrated ability to utilize complex manufacturing tools, fixtures, and testing equipment.
  7. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  8. Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
  9. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  10. Capability to lift 40lbs occasionally, to shoulder height.

Reporting Structure and Work Conditions: This position reports to the Production & Quality Control Manager. General work conditions include:

  1. Daily light assembly tasks.
  2. Ability to lift up to 40lbs occasionally, to shoulder height.
  3. Emphasis on safety consciousness.
