Position Overview:

Alert Labs is on the lookout for a dedicated individual to become a part of our assembly team focused on electronics manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in electronics and will play a crucial role in the assembly process, as well as provide initial troubleshooting and repair assistance for production issues and product returns.

We seek a self-motivated individual who thrives both independently and as part of a close-knit team. The successful applicant will be organized, driven, and will approach all tasks with a proactive mindset.

The preferred candidate will have between 1 to 3 years of experience in a technical capacity within the electronics manufacturing sector, with hands-on experience in product assembly, troubleshooting, and repair.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct first-level troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing line issues.
  • Execute initial analysis, identify root causes, and manage the disposition of product returns.
  • Collaborate with third-party partners to ensure efficient processing of product returns.
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments to support distribution needs.
  • Provide basic technical support for production lines and associated equipment.
  • Perform solder repairs and reworks on PCBs to meet development and production requirements.
  • Oversee project management tasks related to product reworks and coordinate smaller manufacturing projects.
  • Assemble products as needed to align with business priorities.


Required Skills and Education:

  • Completion of post-secondary education with a focus on electronics.
  • Prior experience in electronic product troubleshooting and repair, including PCB soldering skills.
  • Capability to manage small-scale projects with various actions and priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different functional teams.
