Position Summary:

Alert Labs is on the lookout for a dedicated individual to become a vital part of our manufacturing assembly team.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in electronics and will play a crucial role in the product assembly process. This includes not only assembling products but also providing initial troubleshooting and repair support for any issues arising from production and field returns.

We are seeking someone who can thrive both independently and as part of a close-knit team that operates more like a family. The successful applicant will be organized, self-motivated, and will approach all tasks with a proactive mindset.

The preferred candidate will have between 1 to 3 years of experience in a technical capacity within an electronics manufacturing setting, with a focus on product assembly, troubleshooting, and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct first-level troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing line issues.
  • Execute initial analysis, identify root causes, and manage the disposition of field returns.
  • Collaborate with third-party partners to ensure efficient processing of product returns.
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments to support distribution needs.
  • Provide basic technical support for production lines, addressing equipment and application needs.
  • Perform PCB assembly level solder repairs and reworks to meet development and production requirements.
  • Oversee project management tasks related to product reworks and coordinate smaller manufacturing projects.
  • As business needs arise, assist in product assembly to prioritize urgent tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of post-secondary education with a focus on electronics.
  • Prior experience in electronic product troubleshooting and repair, including PCB soldering skills.
  • Capability to manage small projects with multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various functional teams.
