We are seeking a dedicated individual to enhance our manufacturing team, focusing on product excellence and customer satisfaction. This role encompasses a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including coordination across assembly, quality assurance, and the packaging of mechanical, optical, and electronic components, as well as sub-assemblies and systems.
Your Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Production and Quality Control Manager, you will engage in various multi-functional tasks within the manufacturing operation:
Assembly:- Oversee the coordination of customer-specific products in a fast-paced setting.
- Manage the setup of intricate tools, fixtures, and testing & measurement equipment.
- Develop and manufacture specific subassemblies to align with customer requirements.
- Lead the testing and troubleshooting processes for components, assemblies, and final products.
- Supervise the inspection and repair of components, assemblies, and finished products.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) initiatives, including pilot builds and the creation of new work instructions.
- Complete necessary checklists and reports to ensure industry compliance and traceability.
- Conduct CRM and ERP analysis and reporting, including the establishment of work schedules.
- Be responsible for QA audit checklists.
- Assist in the receiving and staging of all incoming manufacturing materials.
- Support the packaging of completed products and systems for distribution.
- Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive training programs and certification processes for galvanometer proficiency.
Qualifications:
- A college diploma in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, or Optics technology is preferred.
- Proven experience in building and testing galvanometers is highly valued and essential for success in this position.
- Experience in tuning and calibrating galvanometers, both optically and electronically, using oscilloscopes and related technologies.
- Ability to interpret assembly procedures, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Capability to document and record test results and report daily labor and material usage.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using complex manufacturing tools, fixtures, and testing equipment.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs occasionally, to shoulder height.
Reporting Structure and Work Conditions: This position reports to the Production & Quality Control Manager. General work conditions include:
- Daily light assembly tasks.
- Occasional lifting of up to 40lbs to shoulder height.
- Emphasis on safety consciousness is crucial.
