Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Lead Officer. This role will be responsible for administering department programs and services, guiding and supporting the team in resolving title defects and customer service issues, and analyzing and acting on Lender reports promptly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer department programs and services, including document analysis, preparation, and customer inquiries handling
  • Guide and support the team in resolving title defects and customer service issues while following risk management guidelines
  • Analyze and act on Lender reports promptly
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members and address performance issues to the department manager
  • Collaborate on new training initiatives and assist in staff development
  • Participate in department meetings and huddles

Requirements

  • Law clerk designation or equivalent experience required
  • Three to four years of mortgage-related experience
  • Experience in independent handling of real estate files from start to finish
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking abilities
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office products
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
