Job Summary

Darling International Canada Inc. is a leading provider of natural and sustainable ingredients for the food, feed, and fuel sectors. As a Grease System Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and environmentally responsible management of used cooking oil (UCO) and other products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offload UCO from tankers and drums, as well as products for rendering from trailers and straight trucks.
  • Filter finished products and load trucks with Meat Meal and Tallow.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety protocols and HACCP procedures, including completion of required paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that shunt trucks, fleet tractors, and trailers are in good condition.
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, and accurately complete and submit all required paperwork.
  • Communicate reportable incidents and effectively manage work functions independently.
Requirements
  • Class G driver's license
  • Provincial Secondary School Graduate Diploma or greater
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to Darling Ingredients company values
What We Offer
  • $26.85 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours
