Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Brewery Operations Manager to join our team at Dead Frog Brewery. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our brewery, from raw material procurement to finished product delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning and Control
    • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure timely delivery of products.
    • Monitor and control production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overheads.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct regular quality audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and train a team of production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance and address any issues.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
    • Implement just-in-time inventory management systems to reduce inventory costs and improve efficiency.
  • Health and Safety
    • Develop and implement health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
    • Conduct regular health and safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Experience
      • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a brewery or related industry
    • Skills
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
      • Basic knowledge of brewery operations and quality control procedures

        • Ability to work in a fast-paced brewery environment

        • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods
