Position Overview

The Chopped Leaf is seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to oversee our culinary operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our food preparation and service meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
  • Work Scheduling: Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Training: Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
  • Budgeting: Prepare and manage budget and cost estimates for the department.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Work Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of service.
