Quality Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Quality Director to lead our global quality organization at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive quality strategy that drives excellence across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Strategy and Implementation
- Develop and deploy a global quality strategy that aligns with our business objectives and ensures compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Lead the implementation of quality excellence initiatives across our operations, including the development of quality systems, processes, and tools.
- Quality Leadership and Talent Development
- Build and sustain a high-performing quality organization with a strong bench of leader talent and a diverse pipeline of future leaders.
- Develop and implement talent development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our quality team members.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Partner with business leaders and site leaders to drive quality excellence across our operations.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment and buy-in on quality initiatives.
- Metrics and Performance
- Develop and track key quality metrics to measure performance and drive improvement.
- Lead the development of quality improvement strategies to achieve world-class performance in areas such as internal PPM, supplier PPM, ERI, YRR, warranty, and cost of poor quality.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or operations management.
- Experience
- 10+ years of experience in operations and quality leadership roles.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record of building strong quality organizations across a multi-site, international environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create vision and successfully deploy a quality system across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to lead and drive the APQP process, providing coaching and leadership to all levels of the organization.
- Extended quality tool, system, and problem-solving experience, including 8D, Kepner Trego, Six Sigma, and quality control methods.
- Education
- Master's degree in engineering and/or operations management or MBA.
- Experience
- Proven track record as a leader in both operations and quality roles.
- Language
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
