Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Quality Leadership professional to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a Director of Quality Excellence, you will be responsible for leading our quality organization and driving excellence across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a quality strategy that aligns with our business objectives and ensures compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Lead a team of quality professionals to drive quality excellence across our manufacturing locations and supply chain.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to define and prioritize quality metrics and investments.
  • Provide quality leadership and support for essential programs, including design reviews and performance metrics.
  • Build a culture of systematic problem-solving to continuously improve quality performance.
  • Lead the talent agenda for quality across the organization, including job family definition, incentives, qualifications, and career path.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering and/or operations management.
  • 10+ years' experience in operations and quality leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in building strong quality organizations across a multi-site, international environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to create vision and deploy a quality system across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to lead and drive the APQP process, providing coaching and leadership to all levels of the organization.
  • Extended Quality tool, system, and problem-solving experience, including 8D, Kepner Trego, Six Sigma, and Quality control methods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS in engineering and/or operations management or MBA.
  • Proven track record as a leader in both operations and quality roles.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
