Customer Service Representative

VG Meats is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Retail Sales Team as a Sales Associate. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and contributing to the success of our sales team.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, offer assistance, and provide product information to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Sales and Merchandising: Stock and display merchandise, track and maintain store and freezer inventory, and process payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales goals, share knowledge, and support each other in achieving individual and team objectives.
- Store Maintenance: Regularly sanitize the work areas, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and report any maintenance or repair issues to management.
- Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills, including enthusiasm, friendliness, energy, and maturity.
- Availability: Availability to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately track and maintain inventory, process payments, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Basic Math Skills: Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately process payments and maintain inventory.
- Time Management and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Reliability and Attendance: Reliable transportation and attendance dependability, with a focus on punctuality and regular attendance.
