**Job Summary**

The Agro Clerk is a key member of our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our valued customers. As a Customer Service Representative in the Agro Department, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing prompt and courteous service at the checkout and answering their inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Provide world-class customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Stock and face products on shelves to ensure a visually appealing and well-organized store environment.
• Answer telephones and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness.
• Practice effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a multi-generational team.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge to effectively assist customers with their purchases.
• Participate in special courses, product clinics, and training sessions to improve selling techniques and product knowledge.
• Deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
• Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to ensure clear understanding and resolution of customer issues.
• Work effectively in a diverse environment, demonstrating flexibility and strong interpersonal skills.
• Develop a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.

**Requirements**

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in administrative duties would be an asset.
• Strong service orientation and motivation, with the ability to serve and assist customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a multi-generational team.
