Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at The BestLife Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, including production and other relevant metrics.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of our construction teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including site meetings, inspections, and training sessions.
  • Oversee the training and development of apprentices and junior staff members.
  • Recruit, hire, and manage a team of skilled workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and qualifications to perform their roles effectively.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring we stay within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to lead and instruct individuals, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail.
Working Conditions
  • More than 20 people in the team.
  • Permanent work term.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
