Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at The BestLife Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of construction workers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and schedule activities, including preparing production reports, requisitioning materials, and overseeing apprenticeship training.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, identifying and mitigating potential risks to workers and the public.
  • Personnel Management: Recruit, hire, and train workers, as well as recommend personnel actions to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials, and develop plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a construction supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
