Position Overview

The Electric Mechanic 310E role is crucial for the effective operation and upkeep of electric-powered machinery utilized in various projects. This position entails the maintenance and repair of a diverse array of electric construction equipment within a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular maintenance and urgent repairs on electric-powered construction machinery.
  • Identify and resolve electrical malfunctions in equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols during all maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance and repair activities undertaken.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project supervisors, and other team members to ensure equipment readiness.
  • Perform inspections and tests on machinery to confirm proper operation and safety compliance.
  • Oversee the inventory of tools, parts, and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment as necessary.
  • Offer technical assistance and support to fellow mechanics and maintenance personnel.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid 310E Certificate of Qualification (Electric Mechanic).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of electric-powered construction machinery.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Capability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in equipment maintenance.
