About the Role

Fiera Foods Company is seeking a skilled Electrical Mechanic to join our team. As an Electrical Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including testing and observing electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Component Fabrication and Replacement: Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts, and replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components.
  • On-Site Servicing and Repair: Perform on-site servicing and repair of electrical equipment, including testing and repairing or replacing faulty wiring or components.
  • Quality Assurance: Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical mechanics or a related field.
  • Work Environment: Noisy work site environment.
  • Work Setting: Maintenance, repair, testing, and service.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, team player.
