Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including testing and observing electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Component Replacement: Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components as needed.
  • Coil Assembly and Installation: Wind, assemble, and install various types of coils.
  • Dynamic Balancing: Perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors.
  • Machining: Perform some machining to recondition or modify shafts, commutators, or other parts.
  • On-Site Servicing: Perform on-site servicing and repair of electrical equipment.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear, and test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance.
