Position Overview

The Electric Mechanic 310E role is vital for the effective operation and upkeep of electric-powered machinery utilized in various projects. This position entails the maintenance and repair of a diverse array of electric construction equipment in a fast-paced and demanding setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and urgent repairs on electric-powered construction machinery.
  • Identify and resolve electrical problems in equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and standards during all maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project leaders, and other personnel to ensure equipment is ready for use.
  • Perform inspections and testing of machinery to confirm proper operation and safety.
  • Oversee the inventory of tools, parts, and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment as necessary.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to fellow mechanics and maintenance personnel.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid 310E Certificate of Qualification (Electric Mechanic).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of electric-powered construction machinery.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in equipment maintenance.
