Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Mechanic to join our team. As an Electrical Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Equipment Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Maintenance and Testing: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including testing and observing electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment.
  • Component Replacement: Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components as needed.
  • Machining and Fabrication: Perform some machining to recondition or modify shafts, commutators, or other parts.
  • On-Site Servicing: Perform on-site servicing and repair of electrical equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Noisy and dusty work site environment.
  • Work Setting: Maintenance, repair, and testing of electrical equipment.

  • Accuracy: Accurate and detail-oriented in work.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
