Job Title: Computer Technician

We are seeking a skilled Computer Technician to join our team at THE RHEUMATOLOGY OFFICE INC.

Job Summary:

The Computer Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks. This is a permanent position, working 32 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance to staff members experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks.
  • Research and implement solutions to technical issues, consulting user guides and technical manuals as needed.
  • Offer training and advice to staff on using computer systems and software.
  • Maintain a log of problems and solutions for reference by other technical support analysts.
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and software to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to staff.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff.
Work Environment:

The Computer Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 32 hours per week.
