Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Senior Care Authority of Inland Empire, CA. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial systems, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Financial Planning and Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
- Financial Systems and Processes: Maintain and improve our financial systems, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Financial Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Education and Qualifications: A Business or Commerce degree with a major in Accounting from a recognized university, and a Canadian professional CPA designation (CMA, CA preferred) or currently working towards a professional accounting designation combined with relevant work experience.
- Experience and Skills: Minimum of three years related work experience, preferably in healthcare, with sound knowledge of Canadian GAAP/PSAS and financial reporting requirements, and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and database tools.
- Personal Qualities: Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a team with minimal supervision, sound understanding of internal controls and financial work processes, excellent analytical, investigative, and creative problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
