Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at A&W (Uxbridge). As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of 5-10 food service staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and kitchen helpers.
- Supervise and coordinate the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring that it meets our high quality standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that they are following company policies and procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, and ensure that they are ordered and received in a timely manner.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and provide reports to management.
- College or CEGEP education.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
