Partner Staffing is currently collaborating with a client in search of a proficient and enthusiastic Civil Transportation Specialist to enhance their innovative team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in the planning, design, and execution of transportation infrastructure initiatives, encompassing roads, highways, bridges, and public transit systems.



Key Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

  • Lead and manage transportation engineering projects from initial concept through detailed design and construction phases.
  • Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, impact assessments, and traffic evaluations.
  • Create engineering drawings, specifications, and financial estimates.
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Offer technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and technical personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to local, provincial, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Participate in community consultations and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Compile reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Track project progress and implement adjustments as needed to guarantee successful outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Alberta, or eligibility to obtain it.
  • 3-6 years of experience in transportation engineering, particularly in road and highway design.
  • Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and traffic analysis tools (e.g., SYNCHRO, VISSIM).
  • Strong grasp of transportation planning principles, traffic engineering, and geometric design standards.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
