Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Technologist to join our team at Associated Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in transportation infrastructure design and inspection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for transportation infrastructure projects, including roadway design and inspection.
  • Collaborate with project managers and designers to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve project efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and review technical documents, including design plans and reports.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members.

Requirements

  • Civil Engineering Technology diploma from an accredited technical college.
  • 3+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design and inspection, with a focus on urban roadway and/or highway construction.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design and drafting software, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within Canada.
