Position: Business Developer - Partnerships (Indirect Sales Channels)

Location: Ebury Toronto - Office Based

The Partnerships division specializes in institutional sales, targeting financial brokers and FinTech companies, and offers white-label solutions for banks, asset management firms, Money Services Businesses, and software platforms. This role grants access to liquidity across multiple currencies, outsourced compliance services, and advanced foreign exchange management software.

The Partnerships & Indirect Sales team plays a vital role in driving the growth and success of our indirect sales initiatives. This team is tasked with cultivating strong relationships with financial intermediaries and strategic partners.

In this role, you will establish a network of intermediaries from the ground up through market research and outreach, aiming to maximize revenue potential. By understanding the needs of your clients and presenting tailored solutions, you will contribute to the growth of our partners' businesses while achieving your own professional and financial objectives.

As you gain market insights, you will become a knowledgeable expert in the foreign exchange sector, paving the way for a successful sales career within a global FinTech environment.

Candidate Profile

  • A passion for building new relationships with a proactive client acquisition mindset.
  • A keen interest in financial markets, preferably with a background in finance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and through various communication channels.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a B2B partner-facing or client-facing role, ideally within the financial services or technology sectors.
  • A structured approach to conducting market research, along with strong planning and organizational skills.
  • A creative problem-solver with an entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrating autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Proven ability to identify and evaluate new opportunities based on customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency in English.
