Job Description

The Senior Manager, New Enterprise Partnerships will be responsible for:

  • Establishing strong relationships with external partners and internal product leads to identify new opportunities for partnership growth
  • Supporting the Director, New Enterprise Partnerships & Strategic Development to ensure overall program alignment and successful outcomes
  • Closing deals at the national and regional level to enhance the business proposition of our channel and existing merchants
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure that every deal meets legal, quality, and privacy standards
  • Delivering against internal business goals while prioritizing the customer experience of potential partners
  • Developing a sound external facing partner proposal that highlights the benefits of a partnership with RBC
  • Supporting the development and implementation of a Partner Services practice management framework
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, partnerships, and/or business strategy
  • Consultative experience and a passion for developing business plans for large, multi-faceted partnerships
  • Strong financial acumen and analytics skills
  • Experience navigating Enterprise relationships with leading brands and cultivating mutually beneficial business value
  • Experience leading partner conversations and building relationships with key day-to-day contacts
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A sense of pride in maintaining consistent high levels of performance and attention to detail
  • Self-starter approach with a strong financial acumen and bias for action, sense of curiosity, and ability to build trust and alignment
  • Strong ability to work in a collaborative, supportive way in cross-functional teams and across the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experienced in successfully approaching businesses in a credible and professional manner
