About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Manager to join our team at Sheriff Corporation. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our industrial and commercial real estate portfolio in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaison between Tenants and Property Owners: Act as a key point of contact between tenants and property owners, ensuring effective communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Property Maintenance and Repairs: Maintain the properties by addressing tenant complaints, completing repairs, contracting landscaping and snow removal services, and enforcing rules of occupancy.
  • Maintenance Scheduling and Building Inspections: Coordinate maintenance schedules and conduct regular building inspections to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet our high standards.
  • Team Management: Create, mentor, and manage a cohesive property maintenance team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other property management tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of our portfolio.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in property management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with tenants, property owners, and team members.
  • Negotiation Abilities: Enhanced negotiation abilities, with the ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate agreements.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in computer programs, including Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Independence: Ability to work with minimal supervision, taking initiative and making decisions as needed.
