About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Paul's Pizza & Steakhouse. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces are clean and sanitized at all times.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including storage spaces and appliances.
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
    • Portion and wrap foods for service.
    • Package take-out food for customers.
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Load buspans and trays.
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
    • Sharpen kitchen knives.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
    Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • Stand for extended periods.
    • Perform repetitive tasks.
    • Work under pressure to meet kitchen demands.
    Requirements and Qualifications
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Will train on the job.
    • Ability to multitask and work as part of a team.
    • Positive attitude and reliability.
