Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest standard.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and have a positive dining experience.
  • Staff Management
    • Hire and train food service staff to ensure that the team is equipped to deliver exceptional service.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve staff skills and knowledge.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of pressure to meet customer demands.
    • Ensure that the work environment is safe and healthy for all staff members.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of pressure.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
    • Ability to train and develop staff skills and knowledge.
