Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Paul's Pizza & Steakhouse. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
  • Staff Management: Hire food service staff, supervise and check assembly of trays, and establish work schedules.
Work Environment:

Our fast-paced restaurant environment requires a supervisor who can work under pressure and maintain a high level of efficiency. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of 5-10 staff members, including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants and food preparers, and kitchen and food service helpers.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
