Job Summary:
We're seeking a Senior Director of Sales, Canada to lead our commercial performance in the Canadian market. This role will partner closely with senior-level counterparts at key retailers, developing growth strategies and spearheading commercial initiatives to elevate our brand visibility and prominence.
The successful candidate will have full budgetary and P&L responsibility, leading the channel and market distribution strategy in Canada. They will oversee retailer negotiations, sales and revenue goals, margin, and retailer profitability. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales and commercial roles in the Canadian market.
Responsibilities:
Financial Ownership & Oversight:
- Full fiscal responsibility for portfolio brands, including P&L and budgetary ownership
- Deliver retail sales, revenue, and profit to agreed targets
- Partner with buying and planning teams on joint sales plans and metrics
Retailer Account Leadership and Development:
- Primary contact for senior buying merchant teams across multiple categories/departments
- Lead and manage the account team for smooth running and effective management
- Responsible for assortment management, leveraging data and analytical resources
- Partner with channel contacts to exploit marketing opportunities and bring brand presentations to life
- Act as the guardian of each brand, striving to bring it to life in the most appropriate way
Requirements:
- Years of beauty industry experience in sales/commercial roles in the Canadian market
- Entrepreneurial and dynamic with proven success operating independently
- Passion for the beauty industry and e.l.f. Beauty's mission
- Positive and energetic with the ability to inspire those they work with
- Outstanding industry reputation and established relationships with senior players
- Success building high-performing commercial teams and managing multiple retailers
- P&L management experience, budgetary ownership, and development
- Outstanding negotiation and relationship-building skills
Compensation: $175,000 - $195,000 per year
