Position Overview:
You will operate independently while also delivering essential support for the smooth and effective provision of administrative services within the firm and to clients. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct client intake processes.
  • Manage file openings and perform conflict checks.
  • Communicate with clients, international associates, and external governmental entities.
  • Draft, edit, and prepare various documents and correspondence.
  • File legal documents with courts, CIPO, and international IP offices.
  • Conduct legal research as needed.
  • Review, update, and maintain case dockets.
  • Oversee file management and billing processes.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of High School, along with college or technical training.
  • Possession of a Legal Assistant Certificate or Paralegal Diploma.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
